Meet Tristen Ensign
Tristen Ensign is the owner and lead painter of Shoreline Pro Services. He has more than five years in the painting trade, and he still walks every job, writes every estimate, and works on the crew himself.
His project list runs from interior repaints and new-construction trim to the work a lot of painters pass on: an eight-day log cabin restoration sanded to bare wood, a hangar door more than 20 feet long, and timber beams at a Woodland brewery. One large custom home exterior took five days, with every window caulked before the first coat went on.
Tristen is also a painter who builds his own software. He's designed his own estimating and job-tracking tools, and that systems mindset is why customers get a fast reply and a clear, itemized estimate. His door hangers joke that AI can't paint a house. He's right, so he uses technology for everything else and saves his time for the work that matters.
When he's off the ladder, you'll find him out at the coast or in the Columbia River Gorge with his wife, Alexis, and their daughter, Madilyn, or watching the latest UFC card.
