Our Process
No surprises, no vague scopes. Here's exactly how a project runs from your first call to the final walkthrough.
Call or Request an Estimate
Call (360) 338-2000 or send your project details and a few photos through the estimate form — you'll hear back the same day during business hours.
On-Site Walkthrough & Quote
We look at the actual scope in person, talk through color and product options, and provide a clear, itemized quote — no vague allowances or hidden add-ons.
Schedule the Work
Once you approve the quote, we lock in a start date and walk you through what to expect day-to-day.
Prep
Pressure washing, scraping, sanding, caulking, rotted wood replacement, priming bare or worn areas, and masking — the unglamorous work that determines how long the finish actually lasts.

Paint or Stain
Premium Sherwin-Williams products applied by spray and back-roll for full, even coverage, with multiple coats where the spec calls for it, and daily site cleanup — no mess left sitting overnight.

Final Walkthrough
We walk the finished job with you before calling it done, and handle any touch-ups on the spot. We hold every job to the Painting Contractors Association (PCA) standard for a properly painted surface: uniform in color, texture, hiding, and sheen, with no drips, holidays, or overspray visible without magnification from 39 inches under normal lighting.
Materials We Use
Product selected for what the surface actually needs — not a single house-brand product used everywhere. Specs below are from Sherwin-Williams' published product data sheets. See every product we use in depth →
Duration Exterior Acrylic
Thick-mil, high-build acrylic coating built for maximum exterior durability.
Coverage: 250–300 sq ft/gal · Recoat: 4 hrs (45°F+), 24–48 hrs (35–45°F)
SuperPaint Exterior
Exterior acrylic latex with Advanced Resin Technology for outstanding adhesion and hide, for everyday exterior work.
Early moisture resistance: 1–2 hrs · Applies down to 35°F
Latitude Exterior Acrylic
ClimateFlex technology applies smoothly even when air, surface, and material temperatures are as low as 35°F — keeps PNW project timelines moving through fall and early spring.
Application range: 35–120°F · Early moisture resistance in as little as 30 min
Emerald Urethane Trim Enamel
Waterbased urethane-modified alkyd — the look, flow, and durability of an oil enamel without the oil-based cleanup or yellowing.
Coverage: 350–400 sq ft/gal · Recoat: 4 hrs · Full cure: 7–30 days
WoodScapes Stain
Two finishes in one line: a semi-transparent waterborne polyurethane that penetrates deeply and lets the wood’s texture show through, and a solid-color acrylic for a uniform, opaque finish. Mildew resistant, and the semi-transparent can be applied in temperatures down to 35°F.
Coverage: 200–400 sq ft/gal (varies with wood porosity) · Recoat: 24 hrs
SuperDeck Stain
Solid, semi-solid, and semi-transparent formulations applied by sprayer, roller, or brush, always with the grain.
Coverage: 200–400 sq ft/gal · Dry: 4+ hrs between coats
